A History of Providing Assistive Technology
Stalls Medical began its quest to establish itself as the State’s premier provider of assistive technology on April 2, 1990. This goal was fueled by a sincere desire to balance corporate integrity, compassion, a high level of skill, and the patience to evaluate various options in an effort to select the right equipment. Our teamwork approach, involving the customer, the family, therapists, the physician, case manager and other referral sources, ensures excellent communication resulting in a successful outcome. The relationships we have established with individuals, agencies, organizations, rehabilitation centers, seating clinics, and others have resulted in significant growth for Stalls Medical. We began with three employees and one location to over 50 employees and locations in Raleigh, Greenville and Greensboro, NC.
In response to our customers request regarding transportation needs, Adaptive Vans compliments Stalls Medical by providing lowered floor vans, full size conversion vans with platform lifts, hand controls, electronic wheelchair securement systems, and many other items to increase independence. Whether it is assessment and evaluation, case management or technical service the goal is to enhance the mobility and functional independence of our customers.
